Vistamontes Winery

Vistamontes is a reference to the breathtaking beauty of the natural landscape of the property where the family has been cultivating vineyards since 1918.

Conceived by winemakers Geyce Marta Salton and Anderson De Césaro, inspired by the desire to create and very attentive to market movements and demands, they invested in a new and modern winery, bringing the concept of wine tourism to the traditional vineyard located in the district of Faria Lemos, in Bento Gonçalves-RS. The cultivation of vines by the family has been pulsating for 5 generations.

Since 2009, the winery has been striving for constant innovation and improvement of its products, which now consist of a diverse range of limited edition sparkling wines and barrel-aged wines, in addition to the already traditional grape juices.

The Location

The district of Faria Lemos concentrates the largest cultivated area of vineyards in Bento Gonçalves, with century-old vines that span generations, combining tradition and a strong drive to create.

With its rocky soil and steep terrain, it provides perfect natural drainage and excellent sun exposure on the north face, creating favorable conditions for consistent and high-quality grape production.

With distinct four seasons, the highlight is the Rio das Antas river, which brings a fresh and pleasant sunrise, often accompanied by mist, increasing the temperature range during summer days. As a result, the grapes ripen slowly and fully, maintaining tension and freshness.

The entire cultivation process of the vineyards, from planting to harvest, is done manually by passionate, experienced, and dedicated individuals who possess a unique expertise passed down through generations for over a century.
